Joe Betz Promoted at Farmingdale State College
Joseph A. Betz Dr. W. Hubert Keen , president of Farmingdale State College, is pleased to announce that Joseph A. Betz was promoted to the rank of full Professor in the Department of Architecture and Construction Management.
He is the author of more than thirty technical papers and presentations and a recipient of the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching (2000).
He received his architectural degrees from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (1983, 1984) and Columbia University (1987), and is a licensed architect. He is currently the national Chair of the Architectural Engineering Division for the American Society for Engineering Education.
A resident of Stony Brook, NY, he joined the faculty in 1992 and teaches design, theory and history of architecture.
