Back Stage Theatre Company at Farmingdale State proudly presents Songs for a New World by Jason Robert Brown ( Parade, The Last Five Years) Thursday through Saturday from November 30 through December 2 and from December 7 through December 9. All performances will begin at 8:00 pm in the Roosevelt Hall Little Theatre.

In describing this gripping revue, the author said, "it's about one moment. It's about hitting the wall and having to make a choice, or take a stand, or turn around and go back."

The show is directed by Ted Kastrinos of Port Jefferson with Ben Malkevitch of Garden City providing musical direction. The cast is composed of Kathryn Burke (Copiague), Katy Flynn ( Lindenhurst ), Eric Vasquez (Plainedge), and Patrick Flanagan (Bayville).

Tickets may be purchased at the door on the night of the performance. Tickets are free for Farmingdale State students, $5.00 for high school and other college students with I.D., and $10.00 for general admission.
