Farmingdale State University of New York President Dr. Jonathan Gibralter is pleased to announce that Robert Godfrey, a Glen Cove resident and senior vice president of CB Richard Ellis brokerage services,has been elected to the Farmingdale State College Foundation. The College Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation that provides financial assistance in advancing the purposes and development of the College through fundraising. The Foundation provides scholarships, faculty development grants and funds for programs and projects that are not funded by the State budget.
Mr. Godfrey's real estate career began in the late 1970's during which time he worked for the well-established New York City/Long Island brokerage and management company, Cross and Brown. Mr. Godfrey joined CB Richard Ellis in 1982, as a sales and leasing specialist working in the Long Island office. Mr. Godfrey has consistently been one of the top three salespersons in his office throughout his career with CB Richard Ellis, ranked as the #1 producer twelve of the last twenty years and receiving both the Colbert Coldwell and Chairman's Awards as one of the top producers in the company.
Mr. Godfrey is a member of numerous organizations, including the New York and Long Island Board of Realtors, Queens Chamber of Commerce, Commercial and Industrial Brokers Society of Long Island,and Long Island Association. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Human Studies from Bradford College
