Jennifer Bryer Joins Farmingdale State College Faculty
Mr. George P. LaRosa , Officer-in-Charge at Farmingdale State College, welcomes Jennifer Bryer as an assistant professor in the Nursing department.
Professor Bryer, a Hewlett resident, joins the Farmingdale State faculty with 13 years experience in teaching. She has been an adjunct professor at two Long Island colleges since 2004. Bryer has been clinical instructor at the School of Practical Nursing in Uniondale since 1993.
In addition, Bryer has significant practical experience as a nurse. She began her career in the pediatric neonatal intensive care unit at North Shore University Hospital , Manhasset. She continues to specialize in pediatric and medical-surgical nursing.
Bryer received her diploma in nursing from Pilgrim Psychiatric Center Nursing School . She graduated with a BS from Regents College and earned her MS in Nursing Education from Molloy College . Bryer is a PhD candidate at Rutgers University .
