Over $76,000 worth of scholarship money was awarded to 48 students at the reception. Farmingdale State President Dr. Jonathan C. Gibralter is pleased to announce that Roman Titov is this year's recipient of the Joseph D. Posillico, Jr. Memorial Scholarship and the Campus Fund Scholarship.
Roman Titov of Staten Island is a second year student in Farmingdale State's Construction Management Technology program. In addition to his outstanding academic record, he is a resident assistant on campus.
The Joseph D. Posillico, Jr. Memorial Scholarship honors the memory of J.D. Posillico, the president of a major contracting company in Farmingdale. The scholarship was established by the family in recognition of Mr. Posillico's understanding of the value of education and the importance of developing technical skills. The Campus Fund Scholarships are awards funded through a payroll deduction option that Farmingdale faculty and staff members choose to join.
