Dolores Ciaccio possesses more than 10 years of experience as a career development professional in university and community settings.  She has counseled individual students and groups in career planning, job search, resume development, cover letter writing and interviewing skills. 

In order to provide up-to-date career information to students and alumni, Ms. Ciaccio maintains a relationship with and acts as liaison to the campus community, alumni and business representatives.   She has established a career resource library for reference to professional publications, directories, labor market information/trends, job outlook reports, on-line Internet career related sources.

In addition to planning and coordinating Career Fairs, Ms. Ciaccio has also organized and presented career programs, seminars and workshops on career issues at off-campus conferences, Job Fairs and career events. Most recently, she presented a workshop on “How to Write a Winning Resume” at the New York Counseling Association Conference in Buffalo on October 1, 2005. She has served on planning committees for Alumni Homecoming, Western Suffolk Counseling Association and the HIA Trade Show.  She is the immediate Past President of WSCA and regularly presents workshops at that Association’s conferences.

Ms. Ciaccio earned her BA and MBA from Dowling College as well as an MA from Adelphi University. She also holds a Certificate in Adult Career Planning and Development from NYU and is a Certified practitioner in the MBTI (Meyers Briggs Type Indicator).
