The Educational Opportunity Centers:

  • Combine academic and vocational courses with counseling and career preparation activities to help students reach their goals;
  • Partner with the local workforce to ensure that offerings provide job opportunities;
  • Work with secondary schools to develop meaningful programs for at risk students;
  • Provide intergenerational learning programs to strengthen families;
  • Place technology where it is accessible.
