Jim Macinick is the Head of the library's Reference Department and is the Depository Librarian for SUNY Farmingdale's Government Documents Depository. He received his MLS from Queens College, CUNY and his MALS from SUNY Stony Brook. Jim has taught library instruction courses for many years, and also teaches in the Institute for Learning in Retirement at Farmingdale State.

Theresa Zahor is a Senior Assistant Librarian for the Reference Department. She received her MLIS from C.W. Post at Long Island University, The Palmer School, and is currently pursuing her 2nd Masters in Educational Technology. Terry has taught virtual library instruction courses for many years, and also teaches Information Literacy to faculty to incorporate new technologies into their curriculum.
