Types of Financial Aid Available

GRANTS: Financial Aid you do not have to pay back.

  • Federal Pell Grant
  • Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG)
  • Federal Work Study Program (FWSP)
  • Tuition Assistance Program (TAP)
  • Aid for Part-Time Study (APTS)
  • Educational Opportunity Program (EOP)
  • Academic Competitive Grant (ACG)
  • National SMART Grant (SMART)

LOANS: Borrowed financial aid that must be repaid with interest. Repayment begins 6-9 months after graduation or less than half-time enrollment.

  • Federal Perkins Loan
  • Federal Stafford Loan (Subsidized and/or Unsubsidized)
  • Federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS)

SCHOLARSHIPS: Financial assistance based on merit and/or need that does not have to be repaid. Several scholarships are available to new and continued students. Click here or contact Financial Aid for any additional scholarships that may be available.
