DR. JEFFREY A. GOLDBERG

As president of Personnel Sciences Center (PSC), a human resource consulting firm, Dr. Jeffrey Goldberg is engaged in Aptitude Testing, Management Skills Training and Career Counseling. 

 

For more than 45 years Dr. Goldberg has assisted organizations nationwide in making hiring and promotion decisions.  Tens of thousands of candidates have been tested and interviewed for jobs in sales, marketing, manufacturing, finance, health care, industrial distribution, information technology, administration and corporate management.

 

By profiling the candidate's abilities, people skills, work style and personality PSC is able to determine whether there will be a good "fit" with the demands of the job and with the culture of the organization.

 

Dr. Goldberg has a B.A. in Psychology from Queens College and both an M.A. and Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University.  In 1976 he became a licensed Psychologist in New York State.

 

He has lectured for the American Management Association and conducts client seminars in Selection Interviewing, Performance Evaluation, Employee Motivation, and Violence in the Workplace.

 

For over 30 years Dr. Goldberg has served as an Adjunct Professor teaching I/O Psychology at Queens College, Fordham University, Adelphi University and SUNY Farmingdale. 

 

His professional membership includes the New York State Psychological Association (NYSPA), Metropolitan New York Association of Applied Psychologists (METRO), Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).

 

Dr. Goldberg served as president of the I/O Psychology division of NYSPA in 2005 and 2008.
