Chi Alpha Epsilon, Gamma Eta Chapter
Chi Alpha Epsilon was organized at West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 1990 in order to recognize the academic achievements of students admitted to colleges and universities through non-traditional criteria. The Gamma Eta Chapter of Chi Alpha Epsilon was chartered at SUNY Farmingdale on December 6, 2001.

Membership Criteria
- Full-time, matriculated student
- 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA for two consecutive semesters
- Accepted into the college/university via developmental or Higher Education Opportunity type for programs
