Please take the time to carefully review the Application Packet and complete it in its entirety. Please review the timeline and remember to be available for all commitments throughout the process. All phases of the process must be completed in order to be considered for the position. The timeline for the Residence Life Staff Selection Process for the Summer and Fall 2018 Semesters is as follows:

What is a Resident Assistant?
The purpose of the Resident Assistant is to enhance the quality of life in the residence halls, while supporting the academic mission of the College for the students in the community. The position is one that has many challenges and many rewards. It requires an individual who is flexible enough to assume a variety of roles as directed by the changing needs of students. It is crucial that an individual be able to relate well to others and handle administrative responsibilities. The RA is more than just a friendly presence; she/he is the crucial link in creating an environment in which students develop independence and learn to live cooperatively with others. Few student positions have such demanding responsibilities and high potential for positive impact on others.
What is a Summer Housing Assistant?
All Summer Housing Assistant applicants MUST:
2) Be in good standing with the college.
3) Reside on campus for the duration of the Summer program.
4) Enrolled in classes for the Fall 2017 semester and registered for housing for the Fall 2017 semester.
The purpose of the Summer Housing Assistant is to enhance the quality of life in the residence halls for our students and guests while supporting the extensive Summer Conference Program at FSC. The position is one that has many challenges and many rewards. It requires an individual who is flexible enough to assume a variety of roles as directed by the changing needs of our students and conference guests. It is crucial that an individual be able to relate well to others and handle administrative responsibilities.
