Dr. W. We are proud of your accomplishments and join with your family and friends in celebration of your hard work.
You are graduating from a college with a rich history of more than 100 years – Farmingdale is Long Island’s oldest public college, founded in 1912, and we are proud of our over 88,000 graduates. Having continuously adapted to the changing social and economic climate of Long Island, Farmingdale State is today a thriving college of applied science and technology. The College represents a legacy of excellence that you take into a bright future. I am confident that the attributes our faculty and staff strive hard to inculcate in all of our students —communication skills, modern technological expertise and a strong liberal arts foundation— will enable you to succeed in your personal and professional lives. You can go forth with confidence that you have mastered your discipline, and you can be proud of your education. Our hearts go with you.
Once again, congratulations on your graduation from Farmingdale State College. Be proud of your alma mater and keep in touch through your membership in our Alumni Association.
