Department of Urban Horticulture & Design Scholarships

Each academic year students in the Department of Urban Horticulture & Design apply for many unique scholarship opportunities.  These scholarships vary in their value and may cover a significant portion of a student's tuition expenses.  The number of scholarships fluctuates each academic year, averaging 20.  The method by which scholarship recipients are chosen varies.  There are two general categories:

 

A.  Scholarships in which students submit applications to the Department of Urban Horticulture & Design or Academic Works  when those scholarships are announced.  The recipient is selected from received applications only by the Department Scholarship Committee (Faculty):

B. Scholarships in which students submit applications to the granting agency when those scholarships are announced.  The recipient is selected by the granting agency.
