Farmingdale State College Alumni Association

Dear 2013 Graduate,

Welcome to the Alumni Association. Congratulations on your accomplishments and best wishes for continued good fortune in your life and career.

We encourage you to stay connected with Farmingdale State through the Alumni Relations Office so that you can take advantage of the benefits a Farmingdale education offers.

Your FSC Alumni Relations Office is always available as a resource for you.

Please join us at two special events coming up in September:

  • Alumni & Friends Night Out with the Ducks – Saturday, September 7, 2013 – 7 p.m.
Come to the Ducks (Bethpage) Stadium in West Islip to watch the LI Ducks play the Sugar Land Skeeters. Open to all alumni, students, and their families, tickets are $13 each and include a post-game fireworks show by Grucci. Tickets can be purchased at the Alumni Relations Office, Ward Hall, Room 10.
  • Homecoming – Saturday, September 28, 2013, noon – 3 p.m.
Join us for a day of catching up with friends, food, fun and amusements. Admission is free for this annual celebration that brings together alumni, students and their families, and the FSC staff and faculty for a day of FSC spirit. Enjoy a bbq, music, games and attractions as well as children’s activities.

Other Alumni Association Events

  • John Engeman Theatre
The Alumni Association has a partnership with the John Engeman Theatre in Northport. Each season they present a series of plays that alumni can attend for a reduced fee. They also give back a percentage of sales to the Alumni Association to support our scholarships and programs. This season has begun with a production of Nunsense. Five other plays will be produced through the year. Check the attached flyer for more information on the performances. You can purchase tickets directly through the Engeman box office at 631-261-2900 using the FARM ALUM code. You can also purchase tickets through their website at www.engemantheater.com (add FARM ALUM in the promo box).
  • Careers
The Alumni Association is also a career resource. We schedule resume writing seminars and career fairs for our alumni. We are currently working on a schedule for these events and will let you know when the dates have been set.

For more information regarding these and other alumni events, please call the Alumni Relations Office at 631-794-6218 or 631-420-2369.

We hope to see you at the Ducks game and at Homecoming and, again, welcome you as a new member of FSC's Alumni Association. Be sure to stay current on all things alumni at www.farmingdale.edu/alumni.

Thank you,
