Food, fun, and a range of activities will highlight this year’s Homecoming on Saturday, October 13 from 11am-4pm on the Great Lawn beside Roosevelt Hall. Students will be admitted free with a valid Farmingdale ID while admission for other guests will be $3. The event is open to the entire campus community and their guests.
Activities include a men’s soccer game, a women’s tennis match, rides, attractions, a BBQ, live music, a step team, and a Flash Mob. The Homecoming King and Queen will lead a Homecoming parade. Boar’s Head and Aramark will again provide food flavored with Professor Becker’s BBQ sauce, which is produced by the Alumni Association.
Homecoming will be the centerpiece event of Spirit Week, which kicks off on Monday, October 8. Elections for the Homecoming King and Queen will be held during the week and ballots can be dropped off at Residence Life, Student Activities, Human Resources, Biology, the ASAP office, and the Alumni Relations office.
