Freshman Admissions Standards

applysunyThe State University of New York (SUNY) Application is accepted by most of the SUNY Campuses. It allows you to apply to multiple campuses with one application.  The application fee is $50.  If an applicant does not pay their $50 fee, or does not file an application fee waiver, their application will not be sent to their prospective schools.

**Application processing can take between 7 and 10 business days.  Please factor this in to your application processing time.

Freshman applicants are required to send the following official documentation:
  • High School Transcripts:
    • Ask your high school Guidance Office to submit your record electronically or via mail
    • Self report your academic record using our SUNY Online Academic Record (SOAR)
    • GED with score of 2800
  • SAT/ACT scores:
    • Can be report from high school Guidance Office or www.collegeboard.org
      • SAT code: 2526     ACT code: 2918
