Admissions

At Farmingdale State College, we seek accomplished students with well-rounded backgrounds and competitive SAT or ACT scores. While we do offer rolling admissions, we highly recommend that your application be submitted no later than March 1. With over 7,000 applications a year, Farmingdale’s admissions requirements are increasingly competitive. We seek students who are academically motivated, and have succeeded in high school. The minimum high school grade point average for incoming freshman is 80% and we require a combined Math/English SAT score of at least 1000; the minimum ACT score is 21.
