LEED Green Associate.  Our LEED course is six 4-hour sessions.  In Level 1, Green Associate, you will learn about U.S. Green Building Council's core principles and procedures and gain the knowledge to take a 3rd party test to receive the coveted Green Associate credential.  The last two sessions, Level 2, LEED AP, provide a deeper understanding of LEED principles in preparation for the LEED AP test.  There are only 140,000 LEED Accredited Professionals in the world...!

WHO should take LEED?
Architects and engineers are often required to take LEED, but LEED affects everyone.  More town than ever before require new construction to be green.  Lawyers, property managers, suppliers, brokers, bankers, decorators, supers, maintenance crews, insurance professionals, and others involved in real estate need to be familiar with changes in best practices of energy conservation.  Your green credentials will get employers' attention.  LEED grows green for you!

Green Principles and Practices - Six 4-hour sessions
"What is green?"  Everywhere we turn these days, we are bombarded with messages about "going green."  But what does going green really mean?  What are green practices and how can they be implemented?  This comprehensive course, taught by one of the nation's leading environmental experts, de-mystifies the subject.  In this course, you will learn about the basic concepts and practical implementations.  You will discover simple ways to go green, as well as be introduced to the technology like fuel cells and cogeneration.  You will learn about the multitude of financial incentive programs available for going green, and how to apply them.  The U.S. Council of Economic Advisors stated, "Green jobs pay 10-20% more than other jobs."

We can bring this non-credit course on site at your organization or register for a class held on campus and other classes at 631-420-2246.
