To apply for a faculty position in a department which does not currently have a vacancy, send a letter of application and vita directly to the department chair of the subject you are interested in teaching. Professional Positions - Current Professional Positions
Announcements of professional vacancies at Farmingdale and other SUNY campuses are available in the Human Resources Office. Information on how to apply is included in the vacancy announcement. Classified Service Support Staff - Current Classified Positions
We have three types of classified positions within New York State Civil Service Law: competitive, non-competive and labor class positions. Job vacancies are posted on bulletin boards outside the Human Resources office and throughout the campus. If you would like to be considered for a lateral transfer from another State agency, please submit a letter and resume to the Department of Human Resources. At the time of a vacancy, applications in the transfer file are reviewed, but the College has no obligation to interview or hire agency transfer candidates.
