Pain Management Course

Spring 2013

This Pain Managements course meets the regulations of the New York State Board for Dentistry allowing Registered Dental Hygienists in New York State to administer local in-filtration anesthesia and administer/monitor nitrous oxide-oxygen analgesia for dental hygiene procedures. The Den-tal Hygiene Department at Farmingdale State College is providing this 45 hour combined lecture and clinical certifi-cation program. This course will instruct the Registered Dental Hygienist in the administration of local anesthesia and nitrous oxide – oxygen analgesia for the control of pain and anxiety.

Registration Requirements:

In order to confirm your registration you must submit:

A copy of your current NYS Dental Hygiene Registration

Proof of Malpractice Insurance

Proof of current CPR

Payment of $1,500.00 . Payment may be made by a Credit Card on the Registration Form which can be mailed to the Dental Hygiene office or faxed to the Dental Hygiene office at 631-420-2582. We will also accept payment by Check or Money Order for $1,500.00 made payable to Farmingdale State College via mail.
