Lucille Wesnofske has over 27 years experience in small business consulting. She has been the Regional Director of the New York State Small Business Development Center at Farmingdale State since 2001 and has helped hundreds of entrepreneurs realize the dream of becoming a business owner. She specializes in and is most committed to assisting women-owned enterprises and is known statewide for her business expertise in the child care industry. Her work for the Small Business Development Center has resulted in millions of dollars of economic impact for the Long Island economy.
Ms. Wesnofske has received The Long Island Business News award for the "Top Fifty Most Influential Women in Economic Development on Long Island", in 2007,2008 and 2011. In 2011, the Farmingdale SBDC received the SBA award for Small Business Development Center Excellence and Innovation Award.
Ms. Wesnofske was the first business advisor in New York State to achieve advanced certification from the New York State Small Business Development Center. She received the "Star Performer Award" from the National Association of Small Business Development Centers, the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Public Service for the State University of New York. In addition, the software authored by Ms. Wesnofske, "Building Blocks Child Care Business Planner", won LISTNET's LISA Award. Ms. Wesnofske earned her B.A. in Liberal Arts and Masters in Public Policy from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and her A.A.S from Farmingdale State University of New York.
Erica Chase-Gregory joined the Farmingdale SBDC in 2011. Her previous experience working with Federal, State and Local government agencies has become a valuable asset to her clients who wish to pursue government contracts. She also specializes in assisting clients with the federal, state and/or local certification processes.
Mrs. Chase-Gregory conducts business workshops each month and is involved with many long island business networking organizations.
Lloyd has 21 years of experience as an SBDC business advisor specializing in business and marketing plans. He has conducted many business seminars using motivational techniques that encourage entrepreneurs.
His prior experience as plant manager, director of distribution, and terminal manager for Continental Trailways brings a wealth of practical knowledge to his counseling skills.
Lloyd has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Baruch College and several post graduate Certificates in Communications and Multimedia from N.Y.U.

Michael Gragg joined the SBDC in early 2013 and took over as our Veteran's specialist and NYS Program Coordinator for the Veteran's Business Outreach Program. Michael graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ashford University with a B.A. in Organizational Management and is currently pursuing his M.B.A. in Corporate Finance.
Michael served from 2004-2012 as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and is an Iraq and Afghanistan Veteran.
Jason has worked in commercial bank lending, commercial real estate and small business consulting for over 20 years. He brings formal credit training and his CCIM designation to assist clients with long-term strategies planning and success. CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) distinguishes Jason as an expert in the field of commercial lending and commercial real estate.
Prior to joining the SBDC, Jason ran his own Commercial Financing Advisory Firm on Long Island, helping clients raise the capital needed for business and commercial investment success. Jason has handled many SBA transactions over the years, making a significant impact on business owners and the local economy.
Jason hold a BA from Manhattan College and earned his MBA at St. John's University.
Robert is currently consulting small businesses on the south shore of Nassau County who are recovering from physical and economic disaster left behind from SuperStorm Sandy in late 2012.
Robert formerly managed the Small Business Lending Department of Community Development Corp. of LI (CDCLI). In his role as Vice President and Chief Lending Office, Robert and his staff provided business loans and technical assistance to small business owners in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
With over 35 years of management and lending experience in the commercial and retail banking industry, Robert has offered financial expertise and community service skills to Long Island and business communities.
Robert is an active member of the Brookhaven Business Advisory Council, and co-chairs the Business Development Committee of the Hauppauge Industrial Association of Long Island
Robert received his undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia. He later graduated from Stonier Graduate School of Banking and went on to earn his MBA at St. Josephs College in Patchogue. Robert resides with his wife and daughter. He also has two sons currently building careers outside of the New York area.
James has 7+ years of experience working in the Business and Education Field. He has earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Management Technology from Farmingdale State College and a Masters of Science in Education from Hofstra University.
Prior to working for the SBDC, James was a Government Account Executive for several large companies on Long Island, including Verizon Wireless where he managed large Government Accounts in Nassau & Suffolk county. James is also a NYS Certified Health/Physical Education teacher and has worked in the physical education deparments of East Meadow and Comsewogue school districts.
James currently advises in Farmingdale SBDC's satellite office in Lindenhurst, NY where he consults business owners on general assistance and also long term disaster assistance for the businesses that were affected by the devastation of Hurricane Sandy. He and his wife currently reside in Babylon, NY.
John is an advanced certified business advisor and has 18 years of experience working with the Brooklyn and Farmingdale SBDCs. Prior to working for the SBDC, John was a consultant/account executive for a Long Island consulting firm where his primary area of expertise was in management training. John has graduate degrees in Government Management, Educational Leadership, and Human Resources. John was named 2004 Veteran's Advocate of the Year by the SBA, and 2004 NYS SBDC Star Performer by the ASBDC. John was recently honored as NYS SBDC's Counselor of the Year 2007, and as one of the top two NYS SBDC Business Advisors in 2006 and 4th Runner-Up for Advisor of the Year 2011.
John is a retired Navy Captain with 30-years of active duty. John is currently the New York State Small Business Development Center Regional Coordinator for the Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC), whose focus is to help veterans, including disabled veterans, in their business ventures.
Maureen is an experienced financial professional who joined the Small Business Development Center at Farmingdale State College after spending 18 years at JP Morgan Chase. Her responsibilities at Chase included a Vice President/Senior Relationship Manager role in which she advised privately owned companies on financial strategy.
Maureen was involved in hundreds of credit presentations across many different industries and that banking and credit experience brings valuable martketplace knowledge to her client consultations.
Maureen has been quite active in the community having served as a Board Member of the IHM Montessori School and St. Mary's Parish Schools. Maureen is a founding member and chairperson of the Adelphi University Women's Giving Circle.
Maureen has a B.A. in Economics from SUNY Oneonta and an MBA from Adelphi University.

Walter has been a Business Advisor with SBDC since 1998. He originally worked at the Staten Island office and has been at the Farmingdale SBDC since January 2002. Walter was twice the recipient of the New York State Star Performer Award in 2007 and 2010. This is the highest award given by National Association of Small Business Development Centers to Advisors throughout the country He also won the NY State SBDC Counselor of the Year Award in 2006. In 2000 he was recognized by the Staten Island Advance and the Staten Island Chamber for his role in a project that resulted in amending a federal regulation. This accomplishment was credited with impacting the continued operation of 32 small businesses and saving 190 jobs along the northeast corridor from Maine to Maryland. For this effort he received the NAMTAC Award for the "Outstanding Project of the Year" in 2000.
Mr. Reid has advised over 2,000 businesses since his tenure with the SBDC which resulted in the formation of 480 new small businesses creating 1,400 jobs and investing over $57,000,000 into the local economy. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Suffolk County Inventors and Entrepreneurs Club, The Long Island Business Exchange, The Business Resource Group, the Nassau County Inventor and Entrepreneur Club and The Safe Water Source, a charitable organization.
He obtained advanced certified advisor status with the SBDC in May of 2011. Before joining the SBDC, he worked for many years in the toy industry as a retail store buyer. He has also been a principal partner in two businesses: New York Business Brokers Inc., and R and M Toy Sales.
He received a B.B.A. from Hofstra University in 1972. He and his family reside in Farmingdale.
