Directions to the SBDC Office

You will turn into the campus off of Route 110 and Smith Street. Once you are on the campus, follow the main road all the way down until you see Horton Hall (Administration Building) on your left. Turn left into the parking lot after the first speed bump. You may park in the big parking lot in front of this building or in front of the Campus Center. Our office is located in the Campus Commons building. This building is located behind the new Student Center. Walk on the walkway between the new Student Center and the Administration Building. Make a right and follow the walkway around the back of the Student Center. You will see a beige building with solar panels on your left. We are located in the same building but you need to walk around the building to our entrance. The SBDC entrance has a green awning and is located on the side of the building. The SBDC is located in Building #6 on the Campus Map.

Directions to the SBDC Conference Center

Come in the main campus entrance on Route 110. After you are on campus, take the second right – this road leads back to the Golf Driving Range. At the stop sign, go straight. On your right will be a long storage/warehouse building. The next building on the right is the SBDC Training Center.

By Train

Take the Ronkonkoma line to Farmingdale.  For more information about available trains, see the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR)'s webpage.

- Option 1 -

Take a taxi from the Farmingdale LIRR station to the College.  Once on campus, have the taxi driver follow the signs to University Police.  The SBDC is located in the Campus Commons building located next to the University Police building.  We are in the same building as Java City, and our entrance is at the green awning on the side of the building.   On the c ampus map, Campus Commons is building #06.

- Option 2 -

The N95 Farmingdale Shuttle travels from the Farmingdale LIRR station to the Farmingdale State campus.  Traveling in this direction, the bus stops at Hale Hall (look for the RR symbol and building #14 on the campus map).  When you get off the bus, turn to your left.  Walk straight ahead, and you will pass between Gleeson Hall and Conklin Hall.  Then, on your right, you will pass the campus bookstore and the University Police.  The Campus Commons building (building #06 on the campus map) is the next building on the right.  Our entrance is on the side of the Campus Commons where the green awning is.

Please Note:

When returning to the train station, you can also catch the N95 bus in front of Laffin Hall (look for the RR symbol and

building #02 on the campus map) as the bus completes its loop and is returning to the train station.
