STUDY ABROAD

Students interested in study abroad are invited to come to the Farmingdale International Education Office, Laffin Hall, Room 302.

Students may participate in any SUNY Study Abroad Program offered through SUNY.  Information can be found at sunysystemabroad.com.

FARMINGDALE STATE COLLEGE IS OFFERING THE FOLLOWING SUMMER 2013 STUDY ABROAD PROGRAMS:

FLORENCE, ITALY (in conjunction with Florence University of the Arts)

June 2 - June 22:HOR 275, Italian Gardens; Art & Nature Combined (3 cr); plus one FUA course (3 cr)

June 23 - July 13: VIS 105, Introduction to Photography (3 cr); SOC 225, Sociology of the Family (3 cr); plus one FUA course (3 cr)

ROME, ITALY (in conjunction with Stony Brook University)

July 14 - August 1:
Cost is approximately $3,350 (airfare is extra) and includes shared room with a private bath, 2 meals per day, etro pass group excurions and international health insurance.  Group excursions to Rome, Florence, Assisi, Padua, Venice, Capril and Sorrento.  Students can complete 6-9 credits.
