Welcome to The Office of International Education and Programs homepage. We provide a wide range of information, support, services and opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to study, work, engage in research and learn on a global scale at Farmingdale State College, SUNY.

Letter from the Dean, International Education and Programs:

Welcome to International Education and Programs. Our mission is to provide students, both domestic and international, with a world class education and the resources to attain that. In this growing global economy, an international focus is becoming essential in the work place as well as our daily lives.

Incoming students can find Farmingdale State College to be a great location to further their career interests and goals through degree-specific classes and internships. While in the greater New York City area, Farmingdale State College is perfectly located for the ultimate international experience. Our international education staff provides student support on many levels in order to make time spent at FSC memorable and priceless.

Current students have access to a number of resources in our International Student Center. We provide advisement on international education from classes for your major and language learning to working internationally through interning and service trips. Traveling to another country while completing your degree can be a great way to learn about a new culture and experience people from all different walks of life. Take yourself out of your comfort zone and become a more independent person and a scholarly global citizen.

Participating in an overseas experience such as exchange or study abroad can change your perspective on life, enhance your career goals and set you apart from others when entering the job market. A great experience, a great education, and even greater memories.
