TEKsystems (Information Security Analyst) Melville, NY
 Our local client, an industry leader in the retail/financial space, is looking to bring in additional information security resources. The client produces/supports hundreds of internal and external applications for companies around the world. Due in part to their expanding business, the need for high levels of security around their applications has increased dramatically.
Potential candidates will be using various tools to test the level of security/vulnerability around applications developed by the client. They then analyze and present these vulnerabilities to a team of developers and testers who will reconcile any and all security issues. While working with the developers and testers, this candidate will also interface on a daily basis with sr. managers in their department.
Besides possessing a knowledge of information security, these candidates will ideally have strong communication, presentation and organizational skills as well.
TEKsystems (Jr. Project Manager) Melville, NY
Our local client, an industry leading manufacturer and marketer of cosmetic products, is looking to bring on a Junior Project Management resource in the immediate future. Due to rollouts of various SAP modules, there is the continuous need for the gathering and prioritization of changes associated with these rollouts.
Once a module "goes live" the support portion (change requests) of the project will be spearheaded by this Junior Project Manager. They will relay pertinent information to a support team of developers/quality assurance resources where requests will be addressed and changes will be re-released.
Besides being very well organized, this Junior PM must have an extremely strong knowledge of Excel as they will use it to prioritize changes. Communications skills are also important as the Junior PM will interface and liaison on a daily basis with the company's version of the PMO (Project Management Office).

Ideal candidates will have:
2+ years of Project Management oriented exposure
Heavy Excel/financial modeling experience
Strong organization/communication skills
(Knowledge/exposure to SAP is a huge plus)

The role is to become a GSAP BRS TC joining the NY/NJ Enterprise BRS group. The GSAP program is a valuable program to EMC through which we recruit bright recent graduates who are interested in getting their career start in the technology world. The successful candidate will receive intensive training, followed by apprenticeship as he or she works their way through to becoming a full-fledged BRS TC.
