BCS 240: Website Development II


This is a course for future developers and designers on creative successful Web Sites. Topics covered will include planning, analysis, designing, and developing well-organized Web sites that combine effective navigation with the use of graphics, text, and color.  Credits: 3.00

Prerequisites:

BCS 130

Course Objectives:

At the completion of this course, students will:

    1. Apply their knowledge of HTML skills to build designed Web pages
    2. Plan and design effective Web pages incorporating their skills in using graphics, typography, and navigation principles.
    3. Demonstrate their understanding of the affects of browser and computing platforms on Web design.
    4. Learn to build portable, accessible Web sites that clearly present information.
    5. Gain a critical eye for evaluating Web site designs.
