The Association for Operations Management in conjunction with Farmingdale State College provides on-site training for all Northrop Grumman employees. The Certificate in Production & Inventory Management (CPIM) helps improve an individual's understanding of how to be resilient in the industry. The series is taught over five course modules.
Topics covered include: supply chain management, detailed scheduling and planning, material requirements planning, capacity requirements planning, inventory management, supplier planning, procurement, operations execution and control, production processes, quality incentives, inventory control, master planning of resources, forecasting, master scheduling, strategic management of resources, and integrating operating processes into the strategic plan.
