The Chemistry Department offers courses to students who are planning to enter a baccalaureate program and/or to those whose goals include more immediate employment.
A program which includes an emphasis in chemistry would be applicable to the following career areas: chemistry, chemical engineering, medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, biology, veterinary medicine, forensic science, allied health professio ns and professions which require a foundation in science.
An emphasis in chemistry, which is designed to be transferable to a baccalaureate program, may be taken under the auspices of the Liberal Arts and Sciences Department.
