Just a short note to let you and your students know that registration is now open for the "Spanish & Medicine" summer program in Cusco, Peru:
• Receive credit for two semesters of college Spanish
• Shadow medical professionals in a Peruvian clinic
• Experience Latin American culture by living with a host family
• Includes weekend trip to the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu
The six-week session is suitable for pre-health students and is designed specifically for future health care workers that anticipate working in demographics with significant Spanish-speaking populations.
Is Spanish necessary in today's health care practices? Consider the fact that the USA now has more Spanish speakers than Spain.
We kindly request that you forward this message to appropriate student groups.
To receive more information, just fill out this quick form.
Students are urged not to procrastinate. Each session (early or late summer) is limited to 35 students and many spots are already taken.

We at Kaplan hope you both stay safe this month with the severe winter weather! Many students have already had to miss out on campus classes and events this semester, but the opportunities below should not be among them; with many online events, blogs, and resources to choose from, Kaplan is making the inconveniences of winter turn into opportunities.
