LIRR Station/Campus

The RamVan for students, faculty, and staff operates weekdays to and from the LIRR station in Farmingdale, with drop off and pick up at Laffin Hall.

Long Island Checker Cab and Farmingdale Yellow Cab each will operate a shuttle van weekday mornings from the Farmingdale station to the campus, and on weekday afternoons from the campus back to the station. The cost of each one-way trip per person is $4.

The RamVan will meet the following weekday morning eastbound trains at the Farmingdale LIRR station:
7:00 am (arrive campus 7:10)
8:35 am (arrive campus 8:45)
9:10 am (arrive campus 9:20)

The RamVan will depart weekday afternoons from Laffin Hall for the Farmingdale LIRR station at these times to meet westbound trains:
12:15 pm (for 12:39 train)
1:15 pm (for 1:36 train)
2:15 pm (for 2:36 train)
3:15 pm (for 3:39 train)
4:15 pm (for 4:38 train)
4:40 pm (for 5:14 train)

In addition, Suffolk County Bus ( http://www.sct-bus.org/schedules.html ) operates route S1 from the Amityville LIRR station which travels north on Route 110 to (Halesite) and stops on campus. The MTA ( http://www.mta.info/libus/ ) operates route N70 bus from Hempstead, which passes through Farmingdale village and also stops at the campus on weekdays.
