The English/Humanities Department at Farmingdale State College employs 12 full-time faculty who teach a variety of courses. See the Farmingdale Catalog for a complete listing and course descriptions.

The faculty include five winners of the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching as well as two Distinguished Teaching Professors.

In addition, the English/Humanities Department houses two important college resources: The Visiting Writers Program and AITIA Magazine.
